I'll be in Sao Paulo this week, but avoiding any protests. New rules put out that any foreigner seen protesting the new government can be deported Also theyre trying to pass a law where you can be arrested for criticizing the government on social media This place is getting bad Edited by Attaburnsinhell, May 25 2016, 07:23 AM.

Yes, yes, ...I quite agree with both of you. After nearly 17 years or so of lunatic socialist rule in both Argentina and Brasil has left BOTH economies in a state of utter collapse. Let's hope that this new Macri government, and whichever government follows that ding-a-ling Rousseff, will be able to turn both economies around. The insane economic policies brought about economic chaos. As a result of all the extensive damage done by the socialists and their ilk, it may take a minimum of two years or so to right the economic course. A tough, road ahead, but an optimistic one. Calling Brasil a socialist country shows a total lack of knowledge, you might as well call Sweden a communist bloc state. Brasil has been forever an uber capitalist economy with some mild social programs, most of them underfunded due to so much money siphoned off through cronyism and corruption. Most of the corruption done by the people who now took over, the rightwing evangelicals Capitalism cannot survive without a form of socialism within it's system, it just has to be properly managed and enforced |
