All this talk about Trump destroying the GOP but look what's going on with the Democrats too. You're either too progressive or too (center) conservative to even be considered a Democrat. The members of the Lib/Dem board seems to be at each other's throats. I'm just over here like: . Both major parties falling apart at the seams? Future elections should be fun, eh? |

There are a few realignments going on, that's for sure Ideally the majors would fragment & we'd have 4 or 5 parties, but our system prevents that from being stable, so any new factions that form are likely to jam right together again into some big lump. It seems like the issues that used to define and divide R vs D, no longer do, and the hot buttons now cut across party lines. Certain groups are beginning to realize they've been played by the majors for years (useful idiots) yet are falling for even sillier b.s. now. Good times. |

I don't think it's good times... it's going to affect the future quality of life of a lot of people, most of whom are too stupid to understand what's happening. |

What people understand is that the establishment has driven the country into a Ditch. Western civilization is coming to an end and this election bears that fruit. |

Except it isn't, and most things here aren't especially bad. There are problems that need to be fixed, and have for years, but sadly those are largely being ignored amid the noise about largely symbolic, trivial issues. |

The problems cannot be fixed and the whole civilization is reaching a systemic failure which cannot be solved by the present political order. |

I would say the number one issue that will effect the working adults today is the sovereign debt in most western nations. The US debt will never be paid, so what is going to happen? Default or inflation? Both have terrifying implications. Add to that the Federal Reserves manipulation of markets - which no one talks about in elections. Its eerie that such a tremendous force in society is at best treated like a conspiracy theory by the public - at worst ignored all together. Although I am libertarian and not enthusiastic about walls and immigration controls, I do acknowledge that they have an effect on societies - especially those with large redistribution programs. I was reading the other day the UK, hundreds of thousands of Muslims are displacing brits and not integrating. Hence why Brexit is no a reality. Massive government induced immigration can destroy a culture - like AI has said. Edited by estonianman, Jun 2 2016, 11:33 AM.

A recession is hardly the worst thing in life. In Rotherham, UK, the socialist labour government allowed over 1400 white ethnic English women to be raped by Islamic immigrant men, for fear of being called a racist. In fact, the government arrested a father who went to fetch his daughter from the paki rape crew; the police arrested the father and called him a racist. |

Hughmac burned you on that crap months ago, no one "allowed" anything. It's also rather cowardly to bring that up knowing he won't post here. |

Hardly. He was humiliated and his posting reduced considerably after that. I have not and will not apologize for that. You brought him into this, I did not. |
