It is completely inappropriate for Sanders to collude with the Republican nominee in an attempt to raise his profile in the Democratic race. I'd like to say I'm shocked at his continued disloyalty to the party he conveniently became a member of last year but, frankly, I'm not. Bernie is all about Bernie.
And how, exactly, does the man who will not be the Democratic nominee debating the man who will be the Republican nominee, harm the Democratic party?
If he doesn't do well against Trump it hurts Clinton by making Trump look good.

It is inappropriate and an example why Bernie was an independent not a Democrat.

If they both bash Clinton ... It won't be good for her. I think Trumps strategy will be to cull Sanders supporters by being nice, in a sympathetic way - to Bernie.

As far as Clinton is concerned - she is running one of the worst campaigns I have ever seen.

Good guys wear white hats
he has already bailed on the idea & he has a legit reason to

I know you don't like Trump, but this has been a rough week for Hillary

This whole cycle will be like this with ups and downs for both candidates
Republicans sign checks on the front, democrats sign them on the back…True story!

Oh please. He tried his usual type of stunt and he did not get the reaction he expected. He was never going to debate Sen. Sanders.

He never intended to.

He can't.

He fell in his own trap.

this whole fiasco is a black eye for Hillary and her campaign

She gets egg on her face and looks bad for not debating Sanders in the 1st place

Furthermore, Trump and Sanders both get positive media attention and even accolades - this will certainly pass and blow over; but chalk this up as +1 for the Trump campaign this week
He crawled away from a debate with Senator Sanders with his frightened tail between his legs and a lame excuse on his lips.

That's not a plus anything.

He's never been in government. Never held a single position there.

He's a capitalist. This fake is one of yours.

But in order to become part of government - he's faking it.

Here's my new theory - one that you will like.

He was in it from the beginning to get Hillary in.

There is no reason for the anointed one to debate Sanders...Indeed, there is no reason to have Democratic Party primaries when the Democratic Party super delegates anoint their nominee before silly primaries....The Party decided to quash the ugly head of democracy over two decades ago....Strange as it sounds, Republicans are better real Democrats...If Sanders won California and Montana (all or nothing States), he would have more elected delegates than Hillary...In that case, it is only the Party Operati handing the nomination to Hillary...Hillary must worry how many angry Sanders supporters won't vote for her in the election...JFK solved that conundrum by selecting LBJ as his running mate....Is Miss Piggy too pigheaded to do that ???................. :oyvey

Rightfully so.

I am surprised Trump backed out of this - suddenly he's playing by establishment rules? wtf
