Indeed. We should regulate that pesky free market place with another bureaucracy.

Lets call it the Drug Enforcement Administration - that will show them.

Only a soulless creature would want to make a profit off the misery of addicts.

My uncle died by drowning while intoxicated - yes he was an alcoholic.

The difference is I do not rely on my personal feelings to micromanage everyone else's lifestyle.

You should...if you could spend one more day with your Uncle, you don't think it would be worth it....the destruction, the pain, the absent nites, the violence, no to mention just the plain sickness of it...yeah...I don't have a problem..if I could I have the US target drug cartels rather then terrorists..

Had alcohol been illegal, my uncle would have probably found some other way to escape reality, like meth or huffing gas.

Addictive personalities come from depression - so lets stab the beast in the heart and collectively ban depression.

btw. Drugs have been banned in the united states for 40+ years and its working beautifully.

We should not condemn unfortunate addicts of intoxicating substances.
Rather, we should hunt big-scale dealers and their satellites across the Globe.

Depression got many shades. One of the causes may be poverty.
We should, therefore, combat poverty across the World.

The only way to do that is to promote capitalism, lower or eliminate taxes.

Comrade esto: premier nikita sail, Moscow taxes are impoverishing our communities!
Premier sail: but comrade, without those taxes our collective farms would cease to exist
Comrade esto: but premier, why can't the individuals fund their own farms and trade for a profit?
Premier sail: Blasphemy, guard take him to the trains

Curious why the 20 trillion dollar debt wasn't in that infographic Buckfan posted a few days ago.

By government standards, that has to be an accomplishment.
