Tokyo and Seoul are not Chicago and Detroit.
Brilliant. Neither are Toronto, London, Cairo, Mumbai, or Madrid.

What do you propose?
You and I know what the problem is. Leftists know what the problem is.

Dense population does not correlate to high murder rates as demonstrated by Tokyo and Seoul.
What do you propose as a solution?
“Strong people don’t need strong leaders.”

How would that help? The guys shooting each other already have guns. Generally when an unarmed person is hit, it's unintended.

Do Tokyo and Seoul have open carry?

Do Tokyo and Seoul have large populations of Trayvon types living on the Democrat plantation?
Only liberals can choose not to go down the road to widespread, systematic violence.

It has very little to do with guns.

Have you seen Japanese anime and how violent those cartoons are? The left were hell bent on blaming violent movies responsible for kids behavior in this country. So why aren't we seeing the same happening in Japan or S. Korea when their shows are far more violent than the US?

Why aren't we addressing the culture and the lack of parental guidance embraced by certain races? Know why? They are afraid to have an open discussion fearing someone may attack them, issuing death threats, career ending, or call a racist for speaking out.

Start addressing the issues instead of blaming guns for just about everything.

How many examples of cities with open carry do you want where they do not have the problem of thugs running around shooting each other?

I have not blamed guns at all. Please be specific as to how you would solve this problem, using policies that would be allowed by the US Constitution, and can be shown by example to have worked in similar large cities.

How many examples do you have of cities the size of Chicago with open carry and significantly lower homicide rates?

btw, I'm not anti open-carry, just skeptical that it's a solution. I welcome evidence to the contrary. Good luck.

This has nothing to do with policies. Japanese and S. Koreans do not rely on government policies to keep them safe while walking on the street.

Ask yourself why aren't Japanese and S. Koreans running around killing themselves whereas Blacks and Hispanics are killing their own. No amount of government intervention can stop this madness.
It's the culture. Let's start addressing that.

No, I'm not. However I do not think that is the crux of the issue, since none of the large cities with very low homicide rates have open carry.

Sorry? Not seeing your point. NY and CA are not open carry states, both those have lower homicide rates than Chicago.

Detroit, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, New Orleans -- in open carry states -- have higher homicide rates than Chicago.
