Who paid for the coat? Was it a gift?

Anybody know?
It's probably coming out of her own pocket, and she has probably spent about as much on it as she received giving a single "speech" to Goldman Sach's...

Is the idea here that a wealthy person should be disqualified from discussing income inequality?
No, just by someone who started it, has no business lecturing people about how bad it is.
Hillary Clinton started income inequality? Really? I suspect Marx who lived a hundred years earlier than she would find that an interesting concept.

You Hillary sycophants really have to twist yourself into pretzels to make excuses for her....it's embarrassing....or should be....

Would you take lecture from Madonna about safe sex when she lives a promiscuous life?
The best people to discuss the dangers of addiction with are addicts...
Using that logic, we should get rid of government agencies right?

When was the last time heads of government agencies do anything like take part in what they oversee?
Kate Steinle was separated from her family permanently but leftists didn't seem to mind.

A meme turned up on my FB page showing a picture of Hillary in her coat next to a picture of a vacuum cleaner bag.. Could hardly tell the difference.

The reason I ask is because it seems quite irresponsible, even for a wealthy woman to spend that much on a coat.

It's a lot of money, certainly. But you can easily spend that much on a good bespoke men's suit. I have to say, however, that I'm not keen on the idea of those who are supposed to represent people like me on the topic of income inequality spending more on a single piece of clothing than I spent on my entire wardrobe.
