it solves nothing...

You attack republican Law makers...

The Assailant was a Registered Democrat...

where does it end SS??

It continues the blame cycle...

The guy was a maniac and killed 50 people... time to track down everyone he knows and grill them.

Regardless of their politics

Or the people making the laws should be shamed for pandering to special interests and put the people first. Maybe some Republicans here will acknowledge the errors on their side in this case.
How's the gun law in Chicago working out?

Chicago is not in Florida.

While some cities, like New York, make it difficult to even possess a firearm within city limits, in Florida, and Orlando specifically, you do not require a permit to purchase a gun, you are not required to register your firearm, the owner of the firearm does not need to be licensed, and you need a permit only to carry a handgun, but not a rifle or shotgun. Persons under the age of 18 may buy a firearm if they have permission from a parent or guardian.

*snip*

"For Orlando residents, there is blood on the hands of someone closer to home. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R) was quick to rush out a statement to explain that this was all about Islam. His eagerness to avoid talking about guns speaks volumes."
Comrade - this is all about Islam.

give it up already.
This is about a lot of things.

Like an airplane crash is usually a series of events, so to is the base hatred and the ability to freely find the tools and use them to support that hatred.

Its not just one thing.

Ok, but Chicago has one of the strictest gun laws in the nation. Why didn't the laws work?

Because the problem you love to celebrate for your politics is not just about guns. Not even close.

How's the gun ban working out in Chicago?
Terrible since the criminals and terrorists can just buy human killing weapons in other states and cities.

Nationwide ban of human killing weapons, along with steep jail time for possession of these weapons, would go a long way.
So you want to ban knives, baseball bat, chainsaw, forks, metal pipes, automobiles, etc?
Are you saying the suspect armed with a knife or a bat could have gone into a club and murdered 50 people?

Thank you for proving my point.

Republicans blocked the bill for fear that maybe someone would be wrongfully suspected and prevented from exercising their constitutional right
so, your point is that republicans were protecting liberty and personal freedom?

interesting...
Republicans sign checks on the front, democrats sign them on the back…True story!

Because the problem you love to celebrate for your politics is not just about guns. Not even close.

this is exactly true

the biggest factors are economics, community involvement with kids and other demographics (like race)

the lack of real opportunities to succeed (or the perceived lack of opportunities even)

but that is a topic for another thread...

this shooter was wearing a suicide vest. Hell, he called 911 and said he was ISIS. Repubs didn't contribute to or cause this

and how would this failed law have prevented a suicide vest?

and lastly, where in Paris can a terrorist buy a gun?

perhaps we should be looking for a compromise, like, let's re-work the Do Not Fly list and tighten up restrictions for those that are on it legitimately

Funny, I don't see anywhere that I said anything resembling your assumption.
