Quoting limited to 3 levels deepI do..my point is that you pro free market types never seem to hold the businesses accountable in any corruption..its always the gubmints fault that businesses misbehave.
There are millions of businesses in the US, how many federal governments are there? How many businesses control the borders and the airports? How many businesses pass and enforce the laws that govern our country?
How many businesses lobby the gubmint for their interest?
Are you saying that government isn't working?

Quoting limited to 3 levels deepThat's capitalism for ya..get the cheapest labor that you can so you can get the fat bonus and executive perks..makes the shareholders happy too.Yeah..like if there was no gubmint, the private sector would just come to it's senses and act more ethically on its own.
Aw, poor RW. Getting testy after I point out your absurdity? Here, have a beer (or whatever your preference) on me, relax. Life gets better.
You've pointed out nothing Lucash and you're congratulating yourself...please dude...stop embarassing yourself.
Of course you won't admit that I pointed out your double standards, it relates to you. That would be like asking clone to admit he trolls. Relax, accept that you hold double standards and all will be well. That's the first step to fixing a problem.

I'll ask you like I asked Mr. Tik (who has yet to respond)

The government is supposed to do what's best for the people and businesses are supposed to do what's best for businesses.

Who's failing at their job?

Even then it's not the governments fault...it's the Republicans fault...totally ignoring the fact that the Republican is part and parcel of the government.

I agree that gubmint is wrong at times. That it fails
As I also see where the private sector screws up

I merely provide a counter balance to the apologetics often proffered by yourself and your free market homies.

Many times, I have read where you and your homies have said that gubmint should free the private sector from the onerous shackles of regulation so that the mighty wings of commerce may rain cascading torrents of prosperity
onto every man, woman and child. But now..it's..

Honestly? Both. Yes, govt messes up but I consider it more due to the organized chaos of whatever party is in control and the mindless reactionary fighting of the party that is not in control. As for companies, they, big and small - each to their ability, have a responsibility (a "job" if you will), to act ethically/morally, both within their communities and outside it. I do not believe in a business blindly making money at the expense of lives, communities, etc. I don't care if it is "a business being a business", there's enough history to show that a business doesn't have to xxxx people or a town over to make a buck. There can be a better culture within said business than that.

What are you babbling about?
I support immigration laws.

I am only calling you out on your apologetic when it comes to business..don't conflate this into something that it is not.

You do realize that there can be more than one type of bad guy, right? Just because one doesn't chop off heads doesn't mean whatever problems said 'bad guy' may cause is any less problematic or harmful. So yeah, terrorists are obviously bad, but so are unethical/immoral/inhumane (etc) businesses. Why is it one is bad, but the just fine, in your eyes?

I am not apologizing for businesses doing what they're supposed to. It is you who somehow thinks wrong is right with regards to business and right is wrong with the government.

Why is this so confusing for you?

Are you seriously trying to equate business owners that hire cheap labor to terrorists with chainsaws? Seriously? :oyvey
