As he waits to find out when he'll stand trial for three counts of felony aggravated indecent assault, Bill Cosby is reportedly blind and stuck at home without much support besides his wife Camille.

An insider tells the New York Post the comedy icon suffers from an eye disease called keratoconus that's gotten progressively worse over the past year, during which the number of women claiming he drugged, raped and/or sexually assaulted them has climbed above 50.

"His alleged victims may take some solace in the fact that he's in his own personal hell," says the Post's source. "He has been suffering from a degenerative eye disease and is completely blind … All his Hollywood friends have turned their backs on him."

The insider went on to say Cosby, now 79, "is confined to his house in Pennsylvania, and the only person on his side is his wife, Camille, who is masterminding his defense," adding, "His only friends are the small army of lawyers on his payroll."

Sounds like material for another Dave Chapelle movie...

Prosecutor: "Mr. Cosby, can you identify the alleged victim ???....
Cosby: "Sure if I can feel her tits"..........

So sad... Deep down I hope that all the accusations are untrue. It seems overwhelmingly like an impossible hope though. I loved his work. He was truly a talented and funny man.

Bill Cosby Drops Breach-of-Contract Lawsuit Against Sex Assault Accuser Andrea Constand

http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/bill-cosby-drops-breach-of-contract-lawsuit-against-sex-assault-accuser-andrea-constand/ar-BBuZRe1?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp

Cosby dropped the suit just ten days after a partial victory in the lawsuit when a federal judge ruled he could sue her for her Tweets, which Cosby had alleged violated a confidentiality agreement stemming from the 2006 civil settlement after Constand sued Cosby.

His attorneys filed a voluntary dismissal of the lawsuit – which also named Andrea's mother, Gianna, her two attorneys and the National Enquirer – Thursday, offering no reasons for the withdrawal.

Cosby's new attorney, Angela Argusa, issued a statement saying, "Last week, Judge Robreno denied in substantial part the motions to dismiss filed by American Media, Inc. (publisher of National Enquirer), Andrea Constand, and her lawyers. With a court validation of his ability to proceed forward in that action to protect his own rights, Mr. Cosby has today stepped away from that suit and will instead focus his efforts on defending himself against the claims that have been lodged against him."

A spokesperson for American Media Inc., the parent company of the Enquirer, issued a statement saying, "We were always confident that AMI had not breached any agreement with Mr. Cosby, and we are pleased that he has decided not to pursue the litigation further."

Woman blasts Cosby request to have lawyer attend deposition

http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/woman-blasts-cosby-request-to-have-lawyer-attend-deposition/ar-BBvnTAV?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp

Lawyers for the woman Bill Cosby is charged with sexually assaulting in 2004 say his request to have his attorney attend her deposition in a Pennsylvania civil case is "a continuation of his campaign to harass and intimidate."

Andrea Constand asked the court last week to deny Cosby's motion to have his lawyer present during her deposition in her lawsuit against former Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor. Constand is suing Castor for defamation.

Cosby settled a lawsuit in 2006 that Constand filed against him.

Lawyers will drag this out until Cosby is sentenced to a nursing home or a mortuary...The victims will find he gave all of his money to charity and his family before he is convicted...They will not collect a dime........... :)

Cosby lawyers say comedian is too blind to defend himself

http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/cosby-lawyers-say-comedian-is-too-blind-to-defend-himself/ar-AAjKLGM?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp

Bill Cosby's eyesight has deteriorated to the point where he cannot identify his accusers in photographs or otherwise help with his defense, his lawyers said Wednesday as they waged a multi-pronged effort to get the sexual assault case against the 79-year-old comedian thrown out.

His attorneys also portrayed Cosby as a political pawn who is being prosecuted only because a suburban Philadelphia district attorney used the public furor over the comic to get elected last year.

And they renewed their argument that Cosby's lurid 2005 deposition from a related lawsuit should not admitted at his trial, saying he answered questions under oath only after being assured he would not be charged with a crime.

Defense: 'Bandwagon' of Bill Cosby accusers want to pursue claims

http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/celebrity/defense-bandwagon-of-bill-cosby-accusers-want-to-pursue-claims/ar-AAlz4PT?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartandhp

Prosecutors are trying Bill Cosby for an alleged 2004 sexual assault only so that a "bandwagon" of women can pursue old, unsubstantiated claims that the 79-year-old comedian drugged and assaulted them, a defense lawyer said in court Wednesday.

Lawyer Brian McMonagle asked a judge to prevent prosecutors from calling 13 of Cosby's other accusers as witnesses at next year's trial, saying uncertainty about where and when some of the sexual encounters took place made them impossible to defend against.

The women went public at the urging of "clever, cunning lawyers who had the agenda of bringing down an American icon," he told Montgomery County Judge Steven O'Neill, who must determine whether some or all of the accusers will be permitted to take the witness stand.

Prosecutors are trying to show Cosby already had a long history of drugging and molesting women by the time of his 2004 encounter with Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home, the subject of the sexual assault case against him.
