Clearly you are unmarried as that desire tends to disappear after about 6 months of married life... and I don't even want to mention... 'the change' |

Canadian women have the benefit of being married to Canadian men. The "eight pounds" should have tipped you off to that. |

Last year with the low dollar, Victoria Tourism posted a record year...same this year. Lets face it, Canada is probably the only place in the world outside of the US where Americans can visit safely. C'mon down! Bring yer greenbacks.

The danger in going to Canada is dying of boredom....Other than fishing lodges, French food, one ski resort , and inexpensive lobster, there is no reason to go there....Canadians are still trying to thaw out in August..........

Ah Robert, still as profoundly ignorant of anything more than 10 miles from where you were found eh?We have world class skiing which is attracts intelligent, cosmopolitan people from around the world...you clearly have not been here to any of our many marvelous mountains. Canadian wines, especially BC wines, have won first class recognition around the world, much to the dismay of France. We do have many fine restaurants especially in Victoria, Vancouver, Montreal and Quebec City. Also, sadly, the golden arches which would doubtless be your concept of fine dining. As I sit here sweltering in my shorts, as I have since May, I recall the story of the US visitor to the Royal BC Museum in Victoria (second in North America only to the Smithsonian) who asked one of our guards why Vancouver Island didn't drift further away from the mainland. Our guard politely explained how islands are mountaintops and are securely attached to the bosom of mother earth. The visitor nodded vaguely and our guard, in a puckish manner, added the information that we also had huge chains at both ends of the island securing us to the mainland "just in case". This seem to put the visitor at ease and they carried on with their examination of the museum. Stories like this are legion here. Relatives of your perhaps?

Canadians "snowbirds" come to Arizona for months to get warm, eat good Mexican food, water ski, look down at the Grand Canyon, play in the sand, and shoot cattle that look like two prong moose...Canadians don't understand why the City of Phoenix doesn't own a Zamboni and Arizonans have less miles in their snowmobile than on their car....Canadians are amazed that Arizonans pay such low taxes, suspecting we have no government...Canadians don't understand why Arizonans drink more water than alcohol...When Canadians go out at night in Arizona they wear a snowsuit just to be sure..........

Interesting. My friends who own property there report no such attitudes or antics. They do however get a kick out of the Yanks who keep asking them where the Igloos are and where Canada is. |

This is the result when Obama is using American taxpayers' money to fight the war on terror for Canada. If Canadians are not lazy asswipes and can sell us cheap stuff, I won't mind at all. They don't do s**t for the US. |
