Statistics compiled by the German Interior Ministry showed the number of crimes reported in 2015 – excluding visa violations and other immigration violations – remained essentially unchanged from the previous year at 5.9 million. Michael Roth, Germany’s European Affairs Minister, told Reuters Trump’s statement was incorrect and it was important to correct campaign statements in other countries that were based on “fears, lies and half-truths”, given the importance of the U.S. election for the world. “I’m sorry that the Republican presidential candidate trumpets out things like that without any factual basis,” Roth said. “If he had studied the actual situation in Germany, he would know that, while the many refugees who came to Germany and Europe pose a big challenge for us, and everything is still not completely resolved, they have not led to a massive increase in crime rates.”

Absolute rubbish. The German government, with the participation of the very left-leaning liberal media, have hidden the crime statistics from their own citizens. The idea that this massive influx of immigrants has had "no effect" on the crime statistics in Germany is outrageous. It's government BS on a grand scale. I read the German and Austrian newspapers every day. There is little question and doubt that the crime wave sweeping Germany and Austria is being driven by the immigrant population. It's little different than in Sweden, or Belgium, or the Netherlands, or France. Malmo crime rates are shocking. In Germany it's the train stations. The "Muenchner Hauptbahnhof" is a hotbed of crime statistics. In Paris it's the District St. Dennis. In London it's the East End. I don't like Donald Trump either, but on this point he is dead-on. That German minister is full of Sh.... https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/7470/germany-migrants-crime
And furthermore...

At first I laughed when I read about the German minister mocking Trumpty-Dumpty. But then I remembered how disgusted decent human beings were when Trumpty-Dumpty made fun of that man who is physically handicapped. Making fun of mentally handicapped people is just as wrong as making fun of physically handicapped people... |
