Southern Command Warns Sunni Extremists Infiltrating From South Sunni extremists are infiltrating the United States with the help of alien smugglers in South America and are crossing U.S. borders with ease, according to a U.S. South Command intelligence report. The Command’s J-2 intelligence directorate reported recently in internal channels that “special interest aliens” are working with a known alien smuggling network in Latin America to reach the United States. The smuggling network was not identified. Army Col. Lisa A. Garcia, a Southcom spokeswoman, did not address the intelligence report directly but said Sunni terrorist infiltration is a security concern. |

It's a lot easier for a terrorist to enter the country legally with a visa and passport |

Anyone entering with a student Visa can quickly disappear. It's not the borders that are not secure it's the way we allow our paperwork to let many in. |

How did Atta and the 9/11 boys get in? The Free Beacon scare story has no substance. There is no evidence that Islamist terrorists are entering via Mexico or using coyotes to manage the trip, merely the statement that SC is aware of the potential problem. It is pretty easy to tell a burro from a camel. BTW the preferred entry point for ME bad guys is the Canadian border. Northern Mexico is far too dangerous a place for ISIS. |

The Free Beacon? Really? They may want to read their own articles. They say sunni terrorists are coming in but the people they interviewed, their "experts" say there is no evidence of this. They don't have any intel documents that say this. They don't have much but as Gator said, a scary story. The reality is smugglers might be tempted to bring in terrorists but most of them are too smart to do so. They make good money bringing in illegals for work. If they bring in a terrorist and that terrorist is caught or actually pulls off an attack, the smugglers know the US will declare war on them. Smuggling terrorists is not good for business or staying alive. |

BuckFan has a good point. A serious infiltration by ISIS or similar group would be concerned about the coyote going home and talking about the strange (don't speak any Spanish) customers he just delivered. The simple solution would be to kill the coyote once across. Islamist suicide bombers aren't really good customers for the coyote business model. |
